Tusome Sounds Application was developed by the Tusome Early Literacy Programme for primary school teachers in Kenya. The Programme is implemented by the Kenya Ministry of Education, Science & Technology with support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID).
The application code is based on PapayaTM, a phonological awareness support application developed by RTI International (www.rti.org/idg). Tusome Sounds can be downloaded and installed on Android 2.3.4+ devices and above.
