Schools Net Kenya (SNK) is pleased to inform headteachers and teachers that the official 2026 Grade 4 and Grade 5 School-Based Assessment (SBA) Projects and Practicals Guidelines have been released by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). The tools will be accessible from 2nd March 2026, and schools are required to administer the assessments, score learners using the provided rubrics, and upload all results by 29th May 2026 through the official portal: https://cba.knec.ac.ke.
Headteachers are advised to ensure timely access to the portal, proper administration of the performance-based tasks, and secure storage of all assessment records and evidence as required.
